  • Step on top of each bag to make it more compact
  • Remember, the tighter the bags are the less water could seep through
  • For sliding glass doors, windows, create a seal to prevent water by placing a plastic sheet on the ground, up against the wall and stack sandbags on top.

FAQs

Do Quick Dams work with salt water applications?

Unfortunately, no it does not work with salt nor with lime, calcium or even chlorine. The reason behind this is because there could be chemical reaction which could cause for the water to be released back out. This means it will not be an effective barrier.

Can Quick Dams be used in winter and snow? Will they freeze?
